Job Description

SUMMARY OF DUTIES
Administers assessment tools and coordinates the Individualized Program Plan (IPP) for families of the program. Counsels and coaches families using their IPPs. Provides support and follow up services to families, including mutual aid groups. Trains and supports volunteers. Monitors and evaluates families progress. Responsible for curriculum to develop childrens resiliency and protective factors, seeing that it is disseminated and used. Creates and submits appropriate reports. 16 hours per week.
EDUCATION AND TRAINING REQUIREMENTS
Four-Year College Degree from a school accredited by a recognized accrediting agency - general major. Requires basic knowledge or training in a specialized or technical field or trade, such as social work.

Other (Specify): Bachelors degree in a Health in Human Services related field preferred.

EXPERIENCEOver six months, up to and including one year.
SPECIAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
REQUIREDCommunicates and works effectively with people of diverse social, economic, age and gender coping with multiple issues. Works in partnership with other team members in the agency and in the community. Takes initiative to organize and coordinate program efforts as appropriate. Possesses significant knowledge of family and individual counseling techniques and crisis intervention

Continued employment in this position is contingent on successful completion of CPI classes OR other Behavioral Management certification as may be contract-mandated.

Continued employment in this position is contingent on successful completion of First Aid classes.
