Tuesday - Saturday, 11 am - 7 pm About Foundation 2 Crisis Services Foundation 2 Crisis Services is a mission-driven, non-profit organization that provides critical crisis intervention and prevention services across Iowa. We operate a 24/7 crisis center, including phone, text, and chat services. We also operate an emergency youth shelter, mental health support groups, community-based crisis programs, training, and more. We have been saving lives for over 50 years. Join our team today! Overview of the role Complete assessments, intake/discharge paperwork, daily documentation, case planning and other documentation thoroughly and within deadline requirements to comply with expectations of both State and Federal contract including Iowa Code. Provide supportive counseling to youth and families during assessments, regular counseling sessions and as a part of their Aftercare plan. Support the Runaway Homeless Youth (RHY) Program through youth shelter stays, attend trainings, conducting support and outreach efforts, serving on community coalitions regarding homelessness and training externally and internally on RHY. Foster appropriate adult/child relationship from a client centered, trauma informed and compassionate lens. Participate in leadership task and roles such as shelter coverage support, facilitate groups and activities, and on-call rotation to support shelter staff for crisis intervention, referrals/assessments and admissions. This position is a full-time, in person position based out of our Emergency Youth Shelter. The RHY Case Manager will primarily provide case management services to youth experiencing homelessness due to family conflict, runaway episodes and other circumstances. The role is Tuesday - Saturday, 11 am - 7 pm to meet the needs of youth and families. There may be times where overtime is necessary such as during on-call rotations. Nights and weekends as needed to fulfill trainings, presentations, and other RHY outreach activities and during on-call rotation. Benefits Per hour base pay is $19.00, plus our generous benefit package of $12,000 per year. Flexible benefit dollars can be used toward medical insurance and other benefits.
