Job Description

Company Overview Spero Family Services is dedicated to providing Christ-centered human services that support vulnerable children and families in our community. With a wide range of social service programs, we are committed to fostering hope, healing, and help for those we serve through compassionate, faith-based care. Overview We are looking for someone who is passionate about helping youth to join our Mental Health Juvenile Justice (MHJJ) team. MHJJ aims to identify, screen, and refer youth with mental health challenges to resources. It specifically focuses on those who are involved, or at risk of involvement, with the juvenile justice system. This position will play a critical role in partnering with families and community providers to provide intense case management for youth in the program to ensure they receive timely, appropriate, and comprehensive care.
Primary Duties Case Management:
Provide case management services for clients as assigned. Duties may include screening referrals, attending court hearings, conducting visits, clinical staffings, attending Child and Family Team meetings, and maintaining client files.
Documentation:
Ensure all documentation and reports are accurate and completed in a timely manner. Duties may include IM+CANS, action plans, assessments, and referrals.
Community Relations:
Assist in representing the agency and advocating for needed services. Ensure collaboration and strong communication with community partners.
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in a Human Services field and a valid driver's license required . Master's Degree in a Human Services field or 5 years previous experience preferred.
Miscellaneous:
Must pass all pre-employment drug screens and background clearances. Must maintain the ability to transport clients per DCFS standards. Must be willing to travel and work flexible hours to meet the needs of the program. Required to work in clients' homes and community settings.
Skills:
Must be organized, able to multi-task, have excellent written and verbal communication skills, basic computer skills, and detail oriented. Must be able to interact with, and relate to, diverse groups of people.
Pay:
$25.20 - $26.64 per hour
