Domestic Violence Caseworker, PartTime, Third Shift, 12am-8am, Saturdays and Sundays The Center for Prevention of Abuse Peoria, IL Job Details Full-time $21.80 an hour 2 hours ago Benefits Employee assistance program Qualifications Active listening Experience working with families with children Full Job Description Part Time 3rd Shift Weekends, 12am-8am, mostly at our Peoria Location, and support as needed at our Peroia location. Pay for this position is $20.80/hour. Third Shift work recieves an additional differential $1/hour, making pay $21.80/hour. The Center for Prevention of Abuse (CFPA) is seeking a passionate individual to join our team as a Domestic Violence Caseworker. Our mission at CFPA is to help all people - women, men, and children, live free from violence and abuse, and our domestic violence counselors help to bring that mission to life. The DV Caseworker will provide advocacy services for families in the emergency shelter and outreach clients, including but not limited to accessing community resources, providing domestic violence education and children's exposure to domestic violence education, active listening and referrals for therapy, legal services, housing and jobs. They also will answer crisis hotline calls, provide shelter operational duties, data processing, and prepare paperwork for shelter and outreach clients. Preferred education of a bachelor's degree in education, social work, counseling, or related field. Must be passionate about CFPA's mission, work well independently and as a team, and have exceptional soft skills.
