Disputes Case Manager Associate The opportunity Our General Counsel's Office ( GCO ) supports EY's business by serving as trusted advisors to the EY community and providing the highest quality legal services to EY's service lines and business enablement functions. As a Disputes Case Manager, you will be a key legal operations professional within GCO , responsible for the day-to-day operational management of litigation, employment, regulatory, and investigative matters. Working closely with GCO attorneys, auditors, and outside counsel, you will help ensure matters are consistently documented, deadlines are tracked, records are complete, and information is readily available to support legal strategy, reporting, and risk management. This role exercises sound judgment to reduce administrative burden on attorneys while improving consistency, transparency, and rigor across the Firm's disputes portfolio. Your key responsibilities Matter ownership and case management- Serve as the primary operational owner for assigned litigation, employment, regulatory, and investigation matters.
- Maintain complete, accurate, and up-to-date records in Firm matter management systems (e.g., ONIT ).
- Ensure all key decision points, milestones, and strategic developments are clearly documented. Document preservation, collection, and production
- Draft, issue, and manage Firm-wide legal hold and document preservation communications.
- Coordinate document collection efforts with stakeholders and external vendors.
- Manage complex document productions and maintain detailed audit trails. Information management and reporting support
- Ensure communications are properly stored in Firm systems (e.g., iManage).
- Track and centralize key matter dates.
- Provide regular matter updates to support internal reporting. Analysis, judgment, and escalation
- Review documents for accuracy, completeness, relevance, confidentiality, and privilege.
- Identify and escalate risks or gaps requiring attorney attention. Attorney and stakeholder support
- Reduce administrative burden on attorneys through proactive support.
