Amergis Healthcare Staffing Amergis Healthcare Staffing is partnering with a respected nonprofit organization in Haverhill, MA to hire a Direct Care Supervisor for their emergency shelter serving homeless adults. This is a fast-paced, mission-driven environment serving more than 40 individuals nightly, and the organization is seeking a dedicated, supportive, and energetic leader to join their team.

Sunday-Thursday, 3:30 PM-11:30

PM Duration:

13-week contract to start, with strong potential for extension

Pay Rate:

$21•23/hour (based on experience) Key Responsibilities Supervise Direct Support Professionals, with guidance from the Shelter Director, to ensure high-quality care and services Provide ongoing staff training, coaching, and performance support Oversee the implementation of individualized support plans Manage staff schedules, documentation, and compliance with policies and procedures Serve as a liaison between staff, clients, and families as needed Address behavioral, operational, and staffing challenges and problem-solve effectively Qualifications Minimum of 1 year of supervisory experience required Housing or human service experience required Bilingual Spanish/English preferred Valid driver's license required Must pass CORI and driving record checks Ability to walk stairs and occasionally lift/move up to 30 lbs
