About Us New Day New Start Behavioral Health Center (NDNS) is a growing, community-based agency dedicated to providing high-quality mental health and substance use services to adults and adolescents. Our programs include Outpatient Mental Health (OMHC), Psychiatric Rehabilitation (PRP), Substance Use Disorder (SUD) treatment, Medication Management, and Supported Employment. We are committed to empowering individuals to achieve independence, stability, and improved quality of life. Job Summary NDNS is seeking a motivated and compassionate case manager to provide community-based psychiatric rehabilitation services. This role focuses on helping clients build essential life skills, improve mental health stability, and achieve personal goals in home, school, and community settings. Key Responsibilities Provide PRP services based on individualized rehabilitation plans (IRPs) Deliver skill-building in coping skills, social skills, and daily living activities Conduct sessions in the community, home, school, and office settings Complete documentation within 24-48 hours in compliance with Medicaid and COMAR standards Coordinate care with therapists, psychiatrists, and other providers Support clients with accessing community resources (housing, employment, education) Maintain consistent communication with families and referral sources Respond appropriately to crises and follow agency protocols Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or related field Experience working with individuals with mental health needs (preferred) Strong communication and engagement skills Ability to work independently and manage time effectively Requirements Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (required) Ability to travel throughout Midshore and surrounding areas Flexible schedule (some evenings may be required) Compensation & Benefits Competitive pay (based on experience) Paid time off (PTO) Mileage reimbursement Opportunities for career growth and advancement Ongoing training and professional development Why Join NDNS?
