Full-Time | Salary Accepting Applications through April 3, 2026. Wellspring Lutheran Services is a statewide nonprofit dedicated to serving families and children throughout Michigan. We are currently seeking a Foster Care Case Manager to join our Foster Care team serving Ingham, Livingston and Jackson counties Responsibilities Coordinate the development, review, and implementation of services, case management, and safety or behavior intervention plans. Oversee all services provided to children and families, ensuring quality of care, compliance with contractual terms, and regulatory requirements. Facilitate community referrals, resources, and services to support family needs. Coordinate and monitor required medical and dental services for foster children. Visit each assigned child at least once per month in the foster home. Maintain accurate, confidential records and submit timely documentation and reports. Prepare court reports and petitions; attend hearings and provide testimony related to permanency, safety, and well-being. Coordinate and supervise visitation between children, parents, siblings, and relatives. Serve as a liaison with schools, community agencies, and service providers. Participate in staff meetings, treatment planning, and professional development activities. Administer drug screens and transport clients as needed. Engage families in case planning and encourage active participation in services. Provide emergency, on-call interventions after hours, weekends, and holidays as assigned. Integrate learning from required DHHS training into daily responsibilities. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Social Work or a human services-related field (required). Current and valid Michigan driver's license, vehicle registration, and auto insurance (required). Experience in foster care, child welfare, or family services (preferred). Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Compassionate, reliable, and committed to ethical and professional practice. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Schedule and Compensation Employment type:
Full-time, 40 hours per week.

On-site with flexibility; travel throughout the service area required.

Milage reimbursement provided
Pay Rate:
$43,800+ annually, based on experience.
