Job Description

Overview Wayne Youth Services is looking for a dedicated Caseworker to join our team. Caseworkers in our office are vital advocates for individuals and families navigating complex social challenges. In this role, you will provide compassionate support, resource coordination to empower clients toward stability and growth, work with youth to help foster positive change, ensuring that vulnerable populations receive the care and guidance they need to thrive. This paid position is ideal for social workers that are new to the field, allowing them the opportunity to make a meaningful impact while developing their skills in social work, behavior health and community outreach. Duties Facilitate Group sessions, Tutoring, School Truancy, or Individual/Family sessions with Youth and/or Guardians. Maintain accurate documentation of client interactions, service plans, and progress reports in compliance with agency standards. Utilize School and Community Connections to help strengthen the youth and families success. Help plan, host, and attend community events. Attend meetings at schools and other locations. Conduct Intakes and create personalized, goal-oriented, person-centered treatment plans. Office Duties including answering the phone, filing, and scanning. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in social work or psychology. Previous experience working with youth ages 10-17. Experience working with at-risk youth preferred. Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate clients. Ability to handle sensitive situations with empathy, professionalism, and clear boundaries Embark on a rewarding career where your dedication transforms lives!
