Intake Worker Job Description We are currently seeking Intake Workers to support. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys helping others, has strong communication and organizational skills, and is knowledgeable about community resources.

Key Responsibilities:

Serve as an initial point of contact clients, responding to general questions about agency and community programs and services. Conduct initial interviews with applicants and help identify their needs and available resources. Assist participants through the intake and application process while following established procedures. Provide information about agency and community resources and make appropriate referrals. Maintain accurate client records, case notes, data collection, referrals, and other required documentation. Ensure necessary program documentation and reports are completed accurately and on time. Work collaboratively with staff and other agencies to help connect participants with appropriate services.

Qualifications:

Knowledge of community resources. Effective oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills. Awareness of the economic and cultural issues facing the individuals and communities.

Education & Experience:

Candidates should have two years of post-secondary education in human services and three years of work experience in a human services field, or a combination of five years of education and/or relevant experience. Our Commitment to
