Job Description

Hiring Range:
LCSWA $25.44•$28.00 per hour commensurate with experience LCSW $33.45•$35.00 per hour commensurate with experience
Hours:
8:00•5:00 Monday•Friday, 30 to 40 hours per week

CHA is seeking a licensed clinical professional to perform clinical social work services to support individuals with substance use disorders (SUD), including those receiving medications for opioid use disorder (MOUD). The clinician will establish and maintain safe, supportive, and professional therapeutic relationships, upholding clear boundaries, while promoting client self-determination, empowerment, and recovery.
Primary Responsibilities:
Complete comprehensive clinical assessments Develop treatment plans related to client needs and goals Work as part of an integrated team Provide client education, referrals, and follow-up as determined by client and family needs Coordinate service plans with other agencies as required by client need Conduct group sessions related to program and client needs
Education/Experience:
Graduation from an accredited college or university with a master's degree in social work (MSW). Experience in an integrated setting is preferred. Internship experience considered.
License:
Must be an active LCSWA in North Carolina, or eligible to obtain the
LCSWA/LCSW
credential
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Extensive knowledge of social, economic and emotional needs, and DSM 5 mental health diagnosesAbility to deal tactfully with others and exercise good judgment in appraising situations and making decisions Must be able to solve problems within a scope of responsibility Ability to secure the cooperation of clients, to elicit needed information and to maintain effective working relationshipsAccurately record services rendered, submit accurate billing, and interpret and explain records Our MissionTo improve individual and community health through services, education, and collaborative action.
