Job Description

Psychiatric Caseworker Location:
Northern Nevada Adult Mental Health Services Schedule:
Full-Time, Monday-Friday Pay:
Up to $37.00 per hour, depending on experience Reliable Healthcare Services is excited to offer an opportunity for a passionate and dedicated Psychiatric Caseworker to join our team and make a difference in the lives of adults receiving care at Northern Nevada Adult Mental Health Services (NNAHMS). In this role, you'll be working closely with individuals experiencing mental health challenges, helping them connect with the support and services they need to live more independently and successfully in the community. You'll be part of a caring, multidisciplinary team - working together to assess client needs, build personalized care plans, and walk alongside each client in their recovery journey.
General Responsibilities:
Build meaningful connections with clients and their families to understand their needs Create care plans that focus on wellness, independence, and long-term success Coordinate services like mental health treatment, housing, job support, transportation, and more Provide guidance, skills training, and emotional support Monitor progress, update treatment goals, and help clients stay on track Assist with discharge planning, community referrals, and follow-ups Help with transportation and court appearances when needed Keep organized and accurate documentation
Minimum Requirements:
At least 1 year since receiving a Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, or related field Direct experience with adults with Severe Mental Illness (SMI) Strong case management experience Comfortable working both independently and in a team Minimum one (1) year case management experience Nevada Driver's License in good standing Passing fingerprint-based background check and drug screening
