Join a team that focuses on delivering a timely, coordinated, client centred and culturally appropriate response to women and children affected by family and domestic violence. Working as part of a broader service system that includes police, courts, child protection, non-government organisations, you will provide client-focused, trauma-informed support to individuals experiencing family violence. You'll conduct assessments, develop tailored case plans, and deliver practical assistance to enhance safety, stability and independence. This role requires strong relationship-building skills, a commitment to culturally safe practice, and the ability to empower clients to make informed choices and build long-term resilience. This is a part time (0.6 FTE - 22.5 hours per week) opportunity until 30 June 2027, based in Albany. Desired Skills and Experience About you To be successful in the is role you will have: Relevant Bachelor's degree and/or significant relevant experience Knowledge of domestic and family violence issues affecting both women and children including those from culturally and linguistically diverse and Indigenous backgrounds. Demonstrated case management skills and ability to assess, inform, advise, support and refer clients Demonstrated knowledge of government and community agencies and resources that assist families, benefits available housing and relevant legal issues. Demonstrated ability to work effectively in culturally diverse environments The successful candidate must possess a current National Police Clearance valid within one year, a WA Driver's Licence and a WA Working with Children Check. A police record is not an automatic barrier to employment with us. The organisation may seek to request an international police clearance if necessary.
