Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Children Services Case Manager to join our dynamic team. This is a great role for a college student, retiree or someone who wants part-time work only. Responsibilities Schedules and supervises parental and/or family visitations directed by Social Workers. Monitors visitation time and follows up with written reports; Confers with the Social Worker regarding client progress and case plans. Assist Social Workers by submitting court documents, scanning etc. Provides transportation both inside and outside of Logan County for children under Child Protective Services including relocation/placement in foster homes, physician visits, and supervised parental visits. On Fridays covers the receptionist desk and greets the public; Receives, opens, screens, sorts, and distributes incoming mail; answers telephone calls, screens calls, transfers calls to proper individual, and takes phone messages as necessary. Scans files into Traverse. Maintain confidentiality of case and agency information, following state and agency policies and procedures. Demonstrate regular and predictable attendance. Qualifications Associate or bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, sociology, education or a related human services field. Clean criminal background check and valid driver's license with a good driving record. Ability to manage and organize schedules. Efficient in time management and multi-tasking. Ability to relate to diverse populations and cultures while communicating with clients in a courteous and effective manner both orally and in writing. Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills. Proficient in related computer applications including Microsoft Office. Ability to document client contacts.

Pay:
$19.45 - $24.00 per hour
