Job Summary:
Description The Case Manager acts to ensure the stability of individuals within the program properties and will be familiar with and able to access resources for clients, including alcohol and drug treatment, mental health treatment andany other identified needs. The Case Manager musthave a good understanding of dual relationships, professional boundaries, and appropriate behavior. The candidate will have the skills needed to support and assist clients in improving and maintaining recovery, retaining housing, and achieving self-sufficiency. Madrona Studios is a five-story building located in the Lloyd District of NE Portland. There are Fair Market, rent subsidized (Project-Based Section 8 and HUD McKinney) and program units.
Schedule:
Monday•Friday, 8:00am•4:30pm, (Saturday and Sundays off)
Location:
Madrona Studios (10 N Weidler St. Portland, OR 97227)
Compensation:
$23.30•$30.91/hr. •Final comp will be determined based on relevant experience, education, credentials/licensure, and internal equity.
External candidates:
Offer max is $27.03/hr per our Union contract.

QUALIFICATIONS
High School Diploma or GED and six months of experience working with the homeless population, behavioral health environment, human services, or related environment; OR 6 months experience in a high-volume customer service role. Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check. Will be required to carry an agency cell phone for work use. Cell phones will be provided by Central City Concern. Must adhere to agency's non-discrimination policies. Must generally have the ability to walk, bend, stoop, kneel, squat, twist, reach, pull and lift heavy objects, and climb stairs with reasonable or no accommodation. Ability to adhere to Central City Concern's drug-free workplace which encourages a safe, healthy, and productive work environment and complies with the Drug-Free Workplace Ace of 1988.An employee shall not, in the workplace, unlawfully manufacture, distribute, dispense, possess or use a controlled substance or alcohol. Ability to effectively interact with co-workers and clients with diverse ethnic backgrounds, religious views, political affiliation, cultural backgrounds, lifestyles, and sexual orientations and treat everyone with respect and dignity. Must adhere to agency's non-discrimination policies.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Valid driver's license preferred. If required to drive, must pass a DMV background check, and be designated an "acceptable" driver as outlined in Central City Concern's Fleet Safety Policy. If required to drive, must pass an initial driver's training within 60 days of being an approved driver and continued recertification training. Understanding of recovery terminology and ability to apply the concepts highly preferred. Bi-lingual, Spanish-speaking preferred.
