This is a team-oriented role that works collaboratively with Bucks County Housing Link staff. Apply today if you are looking to join an impactful organization and reap the rewards of a fantastic benefits package. Responsibilities - Maintain a housing first perspective with a sense of urgency. Assist clients in stabilizing their housing crises through mediation, problem-solving, and conflict resolution. Receive referrals and ensure that clients experiencing a housing crisis receive quality, compassionate services. Empower clients to weigh and consider options, advocate for their own needs, and act on their own behalf. Maintain complete, accurate and timely case records, including CTS and HMIS data entry. Meet regularly with supervisor to review client progress as well as to report on client outcomes. Maintain positive working relationships with non-profit partners, social service agencies, funders, and local government offices. Administer financial assistance and/or provide referrals to appropriate community services. Respond timely to client phone calls and emails and assist walk-ins with emergencies and utility assistance. Assist clients in creating and working to meet goals to ensure housing stability. Guide clients on how to identify appropriate housing opportunities. Engage with and recruit landlords willing to work with individuals/families who are at risk of homelessness. Qualifications -
  • Bachelors degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Computer proficiency in HMIS, Microsoft Office, and database software.
  • Exceptional flexibility, organizational skills, and ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Valid PA driver's license and auto insurance.
