Description Cameron County Children and Youth Services has an opening for a full time County Caseworker 1 position in Emporium, Pennsylvania. Caseworkers in this position provide case management services to children and their families to ensure the safety and well-being of children. This county Civil Service position has a starting salary of $37,000 with a $2,000 increase upon completion of training and promotion to caseworker 2. Requirements are a bachelor's degree which includes or is supplemented by successful completion of 12 college credits in sociology, social welfare, psychology, gerontology, criminal justice, or other related social sciences; OR any equivalent combination of experience and training which includes 12 college credits in sociology, social welfare, psychology, gerontology, criminal justice, or other related social sciences and one year of experience in a position performing paraprofessional case management functions. PA criminal, child abuse, and FBI clearances will be required. Benefits include medical insurance and sick and vacation leave.
