Weatherization Caseworker MC Connellsburg, PA 1 DAYS AGO 22681435 Summary MC Connellsburg, PA In-Person $16.00 - $18.00 per Hour 0 Months Experience High school graduate or equivalency certificate (GED) No Commission 40.00 hours per week / Day Shift / Full-Time Description As a Weatherization Caseworker, you'll be the friendly face that connects community members with programs that can make a real difference in their lives - keeping families warm, saving energy costs, and improving homes. You'll spend your time meeting with clients, solving problems, and navigating resources to get people the help they need. Specific Duties:
  • Obtains necessary client information required by funding sources to receive agency services.
  • Provides information and referral services to clients.
  • Schedules appointments in a timely manner.
  • Documents and verifies eligibility for all programs.
  • Maintains client files in a neat and orderly fashion to assure all required documents are in place.
  • Attends training sessions, workshops, and/or meetings that will enhance services to clients and the continued growth of the organization.
  • Documents and tracks client's progress through case management services.
  • Travels to various sites to conduct intake/transactions relating to program services.
  • Enters and tracks client information through computer system.
  • Compiles monthly reports and invoices as assigned by the department director.
  • Conducts deed searches and property tax verification for agency programs.
  • Participates in the LIHEAP Crisis program on-call rotation.
  • Other duties as required.
Education and/or
Work Experience Requirements:
  • Completion of standard High School education
  • Computer experience preferred in Microsoft Office
  • Good oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong proficiency in mathematics for precise income calculations.
  • Ability to follow oral and written instructions.
  • Ability to maintain client confidentiality.
  • Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, vehicle insurance that complies with Agency standards of coverage, and willingness to travel in all the counties we serve, as well as other counties as required.
  • Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) fingerprint processed in accordance with Public Law 92522 and Child Protective Services Law (Title 23, PA C.S. Chapter 63), Federal Criminal History Background Check
  • Pennsylvania Child Abuse History Clearance
  • PA State Police Report of Criminal History Clearance.
