Assist residents in developing independent living skills including personal hygiene, housekeeping, budgeting, medication self-management, transportation, and meal preparation. Coordinate services with mental health providers, psychiatrists, case managers, family members, and community resources to support individualized recovery goals. Monitor resident progress, assist with assessments and service planning, provide crisis intervention support, and encourage wellness, independence, and self-determination. Complete accurate documentation, medication records, progress notes, and incident reports while maintaining compliance with licensing and regulatory requirements.

Helping OthersQualificationsRequired:

Associate Degree (or 60 credit hours) and three (3) years of experience working directly with individuals with mental health and/or co-occurring diagnoses Five (5) or more years of experience in Mental Health, Drug and Alcohol Recovery, or Rehabilitation Services may be substituted for college coursework at the discretion of the hiring manager Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational skills Detail-oriented with strong time management and follow-through abilities Understanding of recovery-oriented and person-centered approaches to mental health services Knowledge of serious mental illness and psychiatric rehabilitation principles Ability to establish supportive therapeutic relationships with residents Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team Ability to safely respond to crisis situations Basic computer proficiency and electronic documentation skills

Preferred:

Bachelor's Degree Two (2) years of experience working directly with individuals with mental health and/or co-occurring diagnoses Experience in residential, rehabilitation, behavioral health, or community-based services Experience supporting individuals in recovery-oriented residential programsSchedule Full-Time Flexible schedule based on program needs Some evenings, weekends, and holidays may be required Participation in an on-call rotation is requiredPhysical Requirements Ability to lift up to 50 pounds Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, assist residents, and navigate residential environments Ability to accompany residents in the community and transport residents as needed Ability to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodationApply TodaySome jobs pay the bills.
