Job Description
Jim Riley Outreach (JRO) is a Christian non-profit organization based in Plano, Texas. For over a decade, JRO has operated two transitional living homes serving young adults (18-24) who have aged out of foster care or are experiencing homelessness. JRO provides safe housing, life-skills training, mentoring, and individualized coaching designed to equip residents for long-term stability and independent living. Case Manager (Life Coach) Job Description Supervision of 6-12 Residents Primary Responsibilities Resident Coaching & Development Conduct regular one-on-one meetings with assigned residents (6-8) Support goal-setting, progress monitoring, and accountability Provide guidance in financial habits, employment readiness, and life skills Reinforce personal responsibility, routines, and program engagement Case Management & Documentation Maintain accurate, timely resident files and progress notes Track goals, milestones, and graduation requirements Document program compliance and behavioral concerns Close out resident files upon transition Program & House Support Reinforce program policies, expectations, and structure Administer drug testing as required Facilitate or assist with weekly life-skills sessions Support resident transitions (intake, graduation, or early exit) Assist with resident celebrations and achievement recognition Coordination & Advocacy Coordinate appointments with external service providers Identify and connect residents with beneficial resources Provide transportation when required Collaboration & Communication Provide resident updates to senior staff Communicate concerns, risks, and progress effectively Work cooperatively with house staff, mentors, and leadership Compliance & Safety Uphold confidentiality and ethical standards Follow documentation and reporting protocols Maintain appropriate professional boundaries Other duties as assigned.
Desired Candidate Qualifications:
A bachelor's degree from an accredited college is preferred, psychology, behavioral health or social work. A mature Christian faith and ability to discuss biblical issues with clarity. Honesty and transparency are critical. Be knowledgeable and empathetic about working with vulnerable populations and understanding these unique needs. Must have a Texas driver's license and a reliable vehicle. Must be able to work with young adults with varying degrees of emotional behavior and related issues in a flexible scheduled environment ( Previous experience preferred ). Proficiency in Microsoft Office Word, PowerPoint, and Excel (Social Media skill is a plus). Able to pass a criminal background check. Working knowledge of case management protocols • This position provides coaching, guidance, and case management support. It does not function as a licensed counselor or therapist. Excellent Communication Skills (Written and Oral) : Clear, concise, and effective in both verbal and written communication. The ability to articulate ideas, provide guidance, and resolve issues with residents and colleagues in a compassionate and professional manner.Open-Minded :

$35-40K depending on experience; 3 weeks PTO This position is a hybrid position and must be on-site each weekly with some remote work allowed for. The workday is Monday through Friday with Thursday evenings being a flex day due to Lifeskills night.Pay:
