Non‑exemptSummary:
The Disaster Case Manager provides direct case management support to limited‑English proficient (LEP) individuals and families affected by disasters. Working closely with the Program Manager and Disaster Case Management Supervisors, the Case Manager assesses client needs, determines program eligibility, and connects survivors with resources for housing, financial assistance, healthcare, employment, transportation, family wellness, education, and trauma‑informed care. This position collaborates with community partners—including government agencies, nonprofits, and businesses—to promote recovery and long‑term self‑sufficiency for Maui wildfire survivors. The Case Manager also maintains accurate client data and documentation to support reporting and compliance requirements.JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Maintain accurate client records and ensure timely data entry into Visionlink and other tracking systems. Conduct client intake, assessments, and develop individualized recovery plans addressing unmet disaster‑related needs. Assist clients in navigating social services for housing, food, employment, health, transportation, family wellness, ESL, education, and legal assistance. Identify and utilize available resources at federal, state, and community levels to make appropriate referrals. Coordinate with agencies, nonprofits, and volunteers to facilitate outreach events and promote program awareness. Support clients with completion of forms for disaster relief, public benefits, and immigration services, ensuring documentation accuracy. Maintain quantitative and qualitative data for reporting and grant compliance. Provide culturally sensitive and trauma‑informed services to diverse populations. Liaise with Finance Manager and Supervisors for purchasing, time sheets, and other clerical duties. Participate in team meetings, supervision, and training sessions to ensure program alignment and compliance. Other duties as necessary.QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
Required:
High school diploma or two‑year associate's degree.Preferred:
Four‑year degree in social services, global studies, education, or related field. Bilingual proficiency in English and one additional language. Minimum two years of nonprofit or social services experience preferred. Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite; ability to learn new database platforms. Detail‑oriented with strong documentation and follow‑through skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively with diverse teams. Empathetic and culturally competent approach to client engagement. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.Physical Requirements:

COMPENSATION/HOURS
Location:
Hybrid- 95 Mahalani Street #11, Wailuku, HI 96793 Full‑time: 40 hours per week; Monday-Friday, with occasional weekends/evenings as needed.
