Job Description
Hobby Horse House is currently looking for part-time Visitation Workers in Alton to serve families in Alton and the surrounding areas. Hobby Horse House is a nonprofit child welfare agency searching for compassionate, dependable, and professional individuals to support families involved in the child welfare system. Primary responsibilities include supervising parent-child visitation and documenting observations in a timely and accurate manner. This role requires strong verbal and written communication skills, the ability to follow agency and court-related guidelines, and professionalism when working with children and families. Applicants must have a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid driver's license, current auto insurance, and reliable transportation. Candidates must also be able to successfully complete all required background checks in accordance with child welfare and DCFS regulations. Hobby Horse House offers a flexible schedule, paid training, ongoing support and supervision, and reimburses miles for traveling to and from clients.
