Pre-Litigation Director Position Overview The Investigations Case Manager at the Lovely Law Firm is responsible for the early-stage development of personal injury cases. This role focuses on client intake, fact-gathering, and case setup, ensuring each file is properly built, documented, and positioned for successful progression. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and skilled in gathering critical information quickly and accurately. ________________________________________ Key Responsibilities Case Intake & Investigation Conduct detailed client interviews to gather facts related to incidents, injuries, and damages Initiate insurance claims and verify coverage, adjuster, and claim details Collect and secure key evidence (police reports, photos, witness information, statements) Preserve all necessary evidence Complete initial client contact within 24 hours of case assignment Client Communication Serve as the primary client contact during the investigation phase Clearly guide clients through the intake process and next steps Gather and document critical information, including: Medical treatment status Property damage details Lost wages and employment information Photos and supporting documentation Maintain consistent follow-up to obtain missing or incomplete information Case Setup & Documentation Open, organize, and maintain case files in the case management system Ensure timely requests for initial records (medical, incident reports, etc.) Accurately document all case activity and communications Identify potential liens, prior claims, and additional involved parties early Prepare files for handoff to the Case Management or Demand team Coordination & Support Collaborate with Pre-Litigation Director and attorneys to review findings and determine case direction Schedule initial attorney-client calls and assist with case evaluation needs Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth case onboarding ________________________________________ Qualifications Experience in personal injury, legal intake, or case management preferred Strong investigative, organizational, and communication skills Ability to manage multiple cases in a fast-paced environment Detail-oriented with strong documentation habits Proficient in case management software and standard office tools ________________________________________ Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) Initial client contact within 24 hours of assignment Timely completion of case intake and investigation Accuracy and completeness of case documentation Successful and efficient case handoff to next phase ________________________________________ Why Join Us At the Lovely Law Firm, you'll play a critical role in building strong cases from the ground up while delivering exceptional client service in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
