Job Description
Job Summary We are a fast-paced immigration law practice seeking an experienced Immigration Legal Assistant / Case Manager to manage immigration cases from intake through filing and post-filing. This is not an entry-level position. Candidates must be fluent in Spanish and at least 2 years of hands on immigration law experience. This role requires strong ownership of cases, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple deadlines independently. Key Responsibilities Gather, review, and organize client documents (IDs, passports, birth certificates, civil documents, evidence, affidavits) Maintain accurate digital and physical case files Track deadlines including filings, expirations, RFEs, biometrics, interviews, and approvals Prepare USCIS and NVC filing packets Independently prepare immigration forms including:
filings Confirm correct form editions, signatures, and factual accuracy Communicate directly with Spanish-speaking clients regarding documentation and case status Schedule consultations, biometrics, and interviews Monitor incoming USCIS correspondence and ensure timely responses Enter and maintain case data in case management software Support attorney scheduling and case workflow Required Qualifications (Non-Negotiable) Fluent Spanish (spoken and written) Minimum 2+ years of immigration law experience Experience preparing USCIS forms independently Strong knowledge of immigration processes and timelines Excellent organization, accuracy, and deadline management Professional client communication skills Ability to manage a high volume caseload with minimal supervision What We Offer Competitive pay based on experience Stable, long term position in an established immigration practice Direct work with attorneys High responsibility role with growth potential How to Apply Submit your resume and a brief summary of your immigration law experience.
