Job Description

NRVCS is one of the largest employers in the NRV, and we are continuing to grow! Our team is looking for an NRV Recovery Court Clinician to join our Recovery Court team. The Recovery Court Clinician provides clinical, case management, and consultation services for individuals with mental illness, substance use disorders, and/or developmental disabilities and their family/caregivers. Provides supportive counseling, therapy, crisis intervention, screening and triage, assessment, Individualized Service Plan (ISP) development, psychoeducation, and referrals to consumers and their family/caregivers. This position may also travel to other sites if necessary. Develops and maintains working relationships with individuals served, families and/or caregivers, other NRVCS programs, and other community agencies and resources as needed to ensure quality services. •$3,000 Sign on Bonus•
Starting Salary:
$50,400-Depending on
Experience Education/Experience Required:
Graduation from an accredited college or university with a master's degree in social work, counseling, or other licensed- eligible human services field is required State of Virginia License in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology or Marriage and Family Therapy is preferred. License eligibility is required if not fully licensed and registration with the appropriate board is required within three months of hire. At least one year of clinical experience working with individuals with mental illness, substance use disorders, developmental and/or intellectual disabilities is preferred. Additional compensation will be considered for any new employees who speak multiple languages.
