Job Description
The Stars Program is a group home for teens. We are seeking Special Education paraprofessional to facilitate the STARS Residents in our day program. Duties include but are not limited to: actively and enthusiastically supervising the residents, transportation to/from appointments, teaching independent living and social skills, problem solving, crisis management, providing behavior support, documentation, and being positive role models. We have the following shifts available: 1. Monday through Friday 8:30am-4:30pm In order to be considered, applicants must be over 21, have at least six months paid, or volunteer experience working with children or teens (having your own children does not meet this requirement), be able to pass a background check, and have an enthusiastic attitude. College degree in human services field, psychology, or related field preferred but not required.
