In this vital role, you will serve as a guiding partner, helping clients navigate complex social systems, access essential services, and achieve their goals. Your energetic approach and expertise will foster positive change, ensuring clients receive the comprehensive care they need to thrive. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the community while developing your skills in behavioral health, social work, and crisis management. Duties Conduct thorough assessments of clients' needs, including behavioral health, welfare, addiction counseling, and workforce development. Develop individualized care plans that align with clients' goals and connect them to appropriate resources such as Section 8 housing, Medicare services, or childcare programs. Provide crisis intervention and crisis management support during urgent situations to ensure client safety and stability. Utilize motivational interviewing techniques to encourage positive behavioral changes and foster client engagement. Coordinate with community agencies, healthcare providers, and social service organizations to facilitate seamless service delivery. Monitor client progress regularly, adjusting care plans as needed to maximize outcomes. Supervise or mentor junior staff or interns when applicable, promoting best practices in social work and behavioral health. Qualifications Proven experience in social work, behavioral health, or related fields with a focus on crisis intervention and crisis management. Strong knowledge of addiction counseling, child welfare systems, Medicare programs, and workforce development initiatives. Demonstrated ability to perform motivational interviewing and other client-centered engagement techniques. Supervising experience is preferred to support team collaboration and professional growth. Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with clients, families, and community partners. Ability to handle sensitive situations with empathy while maintaining professionalism under pressure. Familiarity with Section 8 housing policies and child welfare regulations is highly desirable.
