Responsibilities include outreach, engagement, and case management services to individuals reentering the community after incarceration, regardless of the charges/convictions, length or location of time served.
Minimum Qualifications:
Must work collaboratively with local medical, behavioral health, basic needs, job and educational placement partners, service providers and other community organizations. Must be adaptable in working with people exiting a variety of carceral settings - prison, jail, community corrections, or work release. Must possess professional, accessible and accurate communication skills.
Requirements:
Must be 21 or older, High School Diploma or GED, valid driver's license, must meet policy criteria regarding driver's abstract, dependable vehicle and PLPD insurance, must pass monitored urinalysis testing, must pass criminal history record check through Washington State Patrol and must have no history of alcohol or other drug misuse for a period of two years immediately prior to the time of employment. Must be familiar with Law Enforcement and the Judicial System. Must have knowledge of behavioral health system in Pierce County. Knowledge of Correction system, preferred. Must be willing to work nights &/or weekends, as requested.
