Job Description

Community & Wellness Coordinator Deadlift Coffee | Casa Grande, AZ Part-Time | 10-15 Hours Per Week | Starting at $17/hour About Us Deadlift Coffee is more than a coffee shop—we are building a community hub focused on wellness, connection, and bringing people together in Downtown Casa Grande. Through clubs, wellness activities, social gatherings, and community partnerships, we create experiences that keep people coming back. Position Summary We are looking for a motivated, outgoing, and organized Community & Wellness Coordinator to help grow and manage our community programs. This person will serve as the primary point of contact for clubs, wellness activities, and community outreach efforts while helping increase traffic and engagement at Deadlift Coffee. Responsibilities Plan and coordinate weekly wellness and community activities Manage and grow clubs including: Book Club Women's Business Club Wellness Series Running Club Other community-focused groups Build relationships with local instructors, businesses, nonprofits, and organizations Recruit and coordinate instructors for yoga, Pilates, Zumba, workshops, and wellness activities Attend and support Saturday morning and Sunday club activities Create flyers and assist with promoting activities and programs Contact potential community partners and maintain ongoing relationships Track participation and help identify opportunities to increase attendance Attend weekly in-person meetings at 2:30 PM Represent Deadlift Coffee professionally within the community Qualifications Friendly, outgoing, and comfortable talking with new people Strong communication and relationship-building skills Organized and able to manage multiple projects Self-motivated and dependable Passionate about community building, wellness, and local engagement Comfortable making phone calls, sending emails, and networking Experience with event coordination, community outreach, or customer service is preferred but not required Schedule Requirements Available for weekly in-person meetings at 2:30 PM Available Saturday mornings for running club Available Sundays for club meetings and activities Flexible weekday hours for outreach and planning Compensation Starting at $17.00 per hour Part-time (10-15 hours per week) Opportunity for additional hours based on program growth and performance
