Job Description

Job Overview Valley Forward is seeking a Campaigns Coordinator to help coordinate worker organizing, community outreach, trainings, partnership development, and civic and outreach campaign activities throughout the Central San Joaquin Valley. Working closely with the Program Director and Worker Organizer, the Campaigns Coordinator will help coordinate organizing campaigns, support worker outreach, facilitate trainings, maintain relationships with union and community partners, and lead field outreach activities. Key Responsibilities Organizing & Campaigns Lead worker, issue, and outreach campaigns. Coordinate field activities including canvassing, phone banking, in-person outreach, trainings, and community events. Recruit, train, and supervise canvassers and volunteers. Help establish campaign goals, timelines, tracking, and outreach plans Support the Valley Forward in workplace organizing and outreach. Help recruit and turn out workers and community members for trainings, meetings, and events. Training & Partnerships Assist with the development and facilitation of worker rights, organizing, leadership development, and civic engagement trainings. Build and maintain relationships with unions, community-based organizations, and other partners. Represent Valley Forward at community, coalition, and partner meetings as needed. Program Coordination Maintain records of outreach, worker engagement, trainings, partnerships, and campaign activities. Provide regular updates on campaign activities, progress, and challenges. Support Valley Forward programs, events, and special projects as needed. Qualifications Required Experience in community organizing, political campaigns, advocacy, outreach, or a related field. Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. Ability to build relationships with community members and organizational partners. Comfortable working in the field and engaging directly with the community. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Willingness to work evenings and weekends. Reliable transportation and the ability to travel throughout the San Joaquin Valley. Preferred Experience supervising canvassers, volunteers, fellows, or campaign staff. Familiarity with workers' rights and the labor movement. Experience facilitating trainings or community meetings. Bilingual English/Spanish strongly preferred. Pay:
From $27.00 per hour Expected hours: No less than 30.0 per week
