Job Description

Direct Hire opportunity •We are seeking a compassionate and organized Resident Service Coordinator . This role is responsible for supporting residents in affordable and permanent supportive housing communities to achieve long-term housing stability and self-sufficiency. You will work closely with residents and property management staff to connect individuals to essential community resources, coordinate wellness programming, and assist with eviction prevention initiatives.
What You'll Do Resource Connection:
Assess resident needs and provide warm handoffs/referrals to local Los Angeles resources, including healthcare, mental health, substance use support, workforce programs, and public benefits (SSI, Medi-Cal, CalFresh).
Eviction Prevention:
Partner with Property Management to identify lease or rental issues early and assist residents with budget counseling, utility support, or rental assistance to maintain housing stability.
Community Programming:
Plan and facilitate monthly on-site resident meetings, educational workshops, social activities, and health/wellness events.
Documentation & Data Entry:
Maintain accurate, confidential records of resident interactions and referrals using data systems such as HMIS, ICMS, or Salesforce.
De-escalation & Advocacy:
Provide conflict resolution between residents and advocate for tenant needs while maintaining professional boundaries.
What We're Looking For Education:
Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Sociology, or Human Services (or equivalent experience).
Experience:
2+ years of experience working in supportive housing, community organizing, social services, or residential settings.
Knowledge:
Understanding of trauma-informed care, harm reduction models, and Los Angeles County social service network.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in MS Office; hands-on experience entering data into
HMIS , ICMS
, or Salesforce .
Languages:
Bilingual (English/Spanish) skills are highly preferred. #COR1
Pay:
$21.00 - $24.00 per hour
