Community Engagement Coordinator Job Type:

Hour Work Location:
Lake Forest (20 hours) and San Juan Capistrano (20 hours)
Your Superpowers Include:
Building trust with families and connecting them to preventative services and community resources Conducting outreach through phone, text, email, mail, and in-person engagement Assessing family needs and supporting successful service enrollment Collaborating with Family Resource Center staff, CMTs, and community partners Tracking outreach efforts, maintaining accurate documentation, and managing data entry Supporting trauma-informed, family-centered, and culturally responsive services Maintaining confidentiality, professionalism, and positive community relationships Flexibility to work evenings and occasional weekends as needed to support families and program goals
Your Toolkit Should Include:
An Associate's degree or sixty (60) college units in Human Services or a related field and 1 year of direct service experience, including leadership or supervisory responsibilities; or 3 years of direct service experience, including 1 year of leadership or supervisory experience Proficiency in English and bilingual proficiency in Vietnamese or Spanish (based on community needs) is required Knowledge of public and private social service agencies, community resources, and Federal and State assistance programs Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse cultural, educational, and socioeconomic backgrounds Computer proficiency and strong organizational skills A passion for serving and supporting diverse communities through high-quality client services
