Job Description

Position Summary The Youth Peacekeeper will support outreach, engagement, and peer-led activities focused on violence prevention, youth empowerment, and community education. This role is designed to build leadership among young people while supporting program implementation. Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with community outreach and engagement activities
  • Support workshops, youth panels, and community events
  • Provide peer support to youth participants
  • Assist with distributing educational materials and resources
  • Help collect feedback and participate in evaluation activities Program Duties
  • Support engagement of youth and families in program activities
  • Participate in community events (forums, workshops, cultural events)
  • Assist in data collection (surveys, attendance, outreach tracking)
  • Promote awareness of violence prevention resources and services Qualifications
  • High school graduate or currently enrolled in college
  • Interest in community service, public health, or social justice
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to engage peers and community members Preferred Skills
  • Multilingual abilities (Khmer, Hmong, Lao, Vietnamese)
  • Experience in youth leadership or community programs
Pay:
$20.00 - $23.00 per hour
