Job Description
Position Summary The Youth Peacekeeper will support outreach, engagement, and peer-led activities focused on violence prevention, youth empowerment, and community education. This role is designed to build leadership among young people while supporting program implementation. Key Responsibilities
- Assist with community outreach and engagement activities
- Support workshops, youth panels, and community events
- Provide peer support to youth participants
- Assist with distributing educational materials and resources
- Help collect feedback and participate in evaluation activities Program Duties
- Support engagement of youth and families in program activities
- Participate in community events (forums, workshops, cultural events)
- Assist in data collection (surveys, attendance, outreach tracking)
- Promote awareness of violence prevention resources and services Qualifications
- High school graduate or currently enrolled in college
- Interest in community service, public health, or social justice
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to engage peers and community members Preferred Skills
- Multilingual abilities (Khmer, Hmong, Lao, Vietnamese)
- Experience in youth leadership or community programs
