401(k) Competitive salary Dental insurance Flexible schedule Health insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Authentic Recovery Homes is seeking an energetic, relationship-driven Lead Outreach Coordinator to serve as our primary community representative in the Colorado Springs area. This position is responsible for developing and maintaining strong referral relationships with hospitals, detox programs, residential treatment centers, behavioral health providers, probation and parole offices, case managers, community organizations, and other referral sources throughout Southern Colorado. This role requires someone who is outgoing, highly motivated, organized, dependable, and passionate about helping individuals access quality recovery services. Essential Responsibilities Develop and maintain ongoing relationships with community partners and referral sources throughout Colorado Springs and surrounding areas. Conduct in-person outreach visits to behavioral health providers, detox facilities, residential treatment centers, hospitals, probation/parole offices, homeless service providers, case managers, and community organizations. Represent Authentic Recovery Homes in a professional, ethical, and compassionate manner.
Medicaid Verification:
Verify prospective clients' Medicaid eligibility and benefits, when appropriate, to facilitate timely referrals and admissions into treatment and recovery housing services.
Resource Navigation:
Provide individuals, families, and referral partners with information on community resources and assist in connecting them to appropriate behavioral health, medical, housing, and recovery support services based on their needs. Educate referral partners on Authentic Recovery Homes' services, admissions process, eligibility requirements, and available resources. Generate and maintain a consistent referral pipeline for admissions into Authentic Recovery Homes. Identify new partnership opportunities and expand referral networks throughout Southern Colorado. Attend networking events, community meetings, recovery events, and resource fairs. Maintain regular communication with referral partners to strengthen ongoing relationships. Coordinate closely with admissions and clinical staff regarding referrals, bed availability, and admission timelines. Track outreach activities, referral sources, and partnership development. Maintain accurate documentation of daily outreach activities and community contacts. Serve as a positive ambassador for the organization while upholding confidentiality and professionalism.
Responsibilities include:
Participate in a required morning check-in with leadership each workday. Submit a detailed end-of-day activity report that includes: Organizations visited Individuals met with Referrals received Pending referrals Scheduled intakes Community events attended Follow-up tasks Additional outreach accomplishments Attend weekly Wednesday team meetings and clinical supervision (in person or virtually, as directed). Travel to the Authentic Recovery Homes main office in the Denver Metro area on the last Wednesday of every month for required staff meetings, planning, training, and collaboration. Qualifications Experience in behavioral health, substance use treatment, recovery services, healthcare outreach, case management, community engagement, or a related field preferred. Strong understanding of substance use disorders, recovery principles, and the behavioral health continuum of care. Exceptional interpersonal and relationship-building skills. Comfortable networking and initiating conversations with professionals from a variety of organizations. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong organizational and time management abilities. Self-motivated with the ability to work independently while maintaining accountability. Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment. Professional appearance and demeanor. Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and willingness to travel throughout Colorado Springs and surrounding communities. QBHA, BA or higher.
