Job Description

Part-Time Outreach & Engagement Coordinator Coastal Legacy Law 701 East 3rd Avenue, New Smyrna Beach, FL 32169 $24 an hour - Part-time $24 an hour - Part-time This is a community-facing, relationship-driven, and results-oriented role . As our Outreach & Engagement Coordinator, you will represent the firm in our community throughout Volusia County , build referral relationships, and create events that convert into meaningful client action . This role is ideal for someone who enjoys connecting with people and takes pride in turning those connections into measurable outcomes. This Role Is a Strong Fit If You… Enjoy building relationships and moving them toward action Are comfortable guiding conversations to a clear next step Like being measured on results and improving performance Are organized, proactive, and follow through consistently Take ownership and bring solutions, not just updates The Reality of This Role This is a people-facing AND results-driven position Success is measured by: Event attendance, Relationships built, Consultations booked (LLPS) You are responsible for owning outcomes , not just activity It requires both: High energy with people AND Strong organization and follow-through behind the scenes What Success Looks Like in this Role Events are well-attended and consistently generate consultations Referral partner network is growing and producing leads Community awareness of the firm is increasing Outreach efforts are organized, tracked, and improving Schedule & Work Structure 20-25 hours per week Primarily weekday hours with flexibility 1 event day per week (~6 hrs on those days; often midweek, occasionally evenings/weekends) Regular community outreach and off-site meetings are required Compensation $24/hour Performance-based bonuses tied to event outcomes and referral growth Ideal for someone motivated by both impact and results

Compensation:
$24 hourly
Responsibilities:
What You'll Own Events (End-to-End) Plan, coordinate, and execute firm events Increase attendance and engagement Serve as host/MC at events Present at smaller community events Build relationships with attendees Guide attendees toward booking Legal Life Planning Sessions (LLPS) Referral Partner Growth Build and maintain referral relationships Track referrals (inbound/outbound) Develop partnerships that generate clients Execute thoughtful partner touchpoints and gifting Community Outreach Visit 5+ local businesses weekly Represent the firm at events and networking opportunities Build partnerships for workshops and collaborations Manage sponsorships and maximize visibility Client Referral Support Strengthen client relationships to encourage referrals Track and recognize referring clients Support gifting and "surprise & delight" efforts Reporting & Accountability Maintain accurate tracking of outreach and results Monitor event performance and referral activity Use data to improve outcomes over time
Qualifications:
Required (Must-Haves) 2+ years of experience in community outreach, events, relationship management, business development, or similar people-facing roles Demonstrated ability to turn conversations or relationships into measurable outcomes (sales, bookings, referrals, partnerships) Strong verbal communication skills and confidence engaging with individuals and small groups Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities and follow through consistently Comfortable working independently and taking ownership of results Willingness to attend community events and occasionally work evenings/weekends Reliable transportation to service all of Volusia County Ability to lift 30+ lbs and independently carry all marketing and event-related materials to and from the office > your car > to the venue Preferred (Nice-to-Haves) Experience in professional services (legal, healthcare, financial, senior services) Event planning or coordination experience Experience with CRM systems, spreadsheets, or tracking/reporting tools Background in account management, client relations, or referral-based roles Critical Success Traits (What We're Really Looking For) Relationship Builder with
