At Dunwoody Pines Independent Living, we are seeking a Community Development Coordinator (CDC) to join our team and play a pivotal role in supporting the local Sales Department! As a CDC, you will focus on delivering exceptional customer service to new residents, executing onboarding plans, and assisting with sales and community outreach. This position requires excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with a passion for senior care and lifestyle. The CDC is a key contributor to achieving our goal of maintaining 100% occupancy and promoting a positive, professional image of the community.
Job Responsibilities:
Sales and Marketing Support:
Assist the Community Development Director with marketing initiatives developed in collaboration with the corporate Marketing department. Utilize community outreach, grassroots, and traditional sales tactics to support sales efforts.
Lead Generation & Outreach:
Develop a pool of new prospective residents through a variety of lead-generation strategies, including cold calling, networking, and leveraging current residents' referrals.
Sales Process Management:
Manage the entire sales process, from lead generation to closing, ensuring timely follow-up and effective communication with prospective residents and their families.
Onboarding & Customer Service:
Execute the 90-day onboarding plan for new residents, ensuring a smooth transition into the community and providing exceptional customer service.
Marketing Materials & Communication:
Contribute to the development and editing of marketing materials for corporate publications, signage, and advertising.
Negotiation & Contracting:
Negotiate rental agreements and terms with prospective residents and their families.
Competitor Analysis:
Research and track local competitors to remain informed on pricing, special offers, and market trends.
Reporting:
Provide weekly reports to the management team, summarizing sales efforts, prospective resident status, and market conditions.
Education & Experience:
Preferred Education:
Bachelor's degree (not required)
Experience:
Previous experience in sales, customer service, or senior living is a plus.
Skills/Requirements:
Customer Service Skills:
Ability to develop and maintain relationships with prospective residents and their families, providing excellent service.
Data Driven :
Proficient in utilizing data to inform decision-making, track performance metrics, and identify trends that drive community engagement and growth.
Communication:
Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage with residents, families, and staff.
Sales Acumen:
Strong understanding of the sales cycle, with the ability to close sales effectively.
Organizational Skills:
Excellent time management and organizational abilities.
Marketing Knowledge:
Ability to think strategically and contribute to the development of marketing plans.
Technology Proficiency:
Familiarity with CRM lead-tracking systems is preferred, but not required.
Local Outreach:
Must have a reliable vehicle to travel for outreach and promotional activities within the city. Passion for

A genuine interest in working with seniors and an understanding of their lifestyle and needs.
