Primary responsibilities include representing the Senator at community events and engaging with a range of constituents and stakeholders on the Senator's behalf. Qualified candidates will have deep knowledge of the region and should have extensive professional experience in community outreach and/or government relations. Ideal candidates will be detail-oriented; able to work in a fast-paced environment; have excellent interpersonal, customer relations and writing skills; and possess a strong commitment to public service. To be successful, candidates should be self-motivated, able to work independently, and comfortable working as part of a large, highly coordinated team. The position requires travel throughout the Coastal region as well as meetings and events during evenings and weekends. The starting annual salary range for this position is $60,000 to $65,000 with eligibility for Senate benefits.
