Our team of passionate professionals works tirelessly to support individuals, families, and communities in achieving lasting recovery and improved well-being. Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and compassionate Outreach Substance Use Specialist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will engage with diverse communities to promote awareness, provide education, and connect individuals to essential substance use and mental health resources. Your efforts will help foster healthier communities through proactive outreach, client engagement, and program development. Responsibilities Conduct community outreach initiatives to raise awareness about substance use prevention and recovery services Educate individuals and groups on topics such as addiction counseling, health education, nutrition, and public health policies Develop and implement community engagement strategies tailored to culturally diverse populations and underserved communities Utilize motivational interviewing techniques to motivate clients toward positive behavioral change Collaborate with community organizations, healthcare providers, and stakeholders to expand outreach efforts Deliver engaging public speaking presentations on substance use prevention, public health topics, and available resources Qualifications Proven experience in community outreach, public health program planning, or related fields Strong communication skills with the ability to connect effectively with diverse populations; bilingual abilities are a plus Experience working with individuals with disabilities or from underserved communities Join us in making a meaningful difference!
