Job Description

The BGCCI is seeking someone skilled and passionate about connecting with our member families to facilitate our membership process and help drive enrollment and retention amongst our Clubs. This person will be skilled at building trust, listening and executing a core process for BGCCI in both English and Spanish. A natural achiever and quick at establishing relationships across our administrative staff, Club staff, Club members and their families. This role will sit at the front desk in our administration office and provide those same skills to our on-site guests and answering the central phone line.
MAJOR DUTIES AND SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
(Inclusive, but not limited to): Working with Clubs and families to drive awareness, enrollment, and membership. Assisting new and existing Club families with the membership process and Childcare Assistance (CCA) paperwork. Driving excitement and engagement opportunities at our Club Sites. Supporting Club supervisors with family relations and recruiting efforts. Answering the phone, managing email correspondence, and greeting in-person guests. Participate in special events, outreach activities, recruitment, and community engagement initiatives. Attend required staff meetings, trainings, and professional development opportunities. Assist with special projects and perform clerical duties as assigned. Operate a Club vehicle when necessary. Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish (written and verbal). Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and general computer applications. Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. High level of accuracy and attention to detail. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally. Valid Iowa State Driver's License and a satisfactory driving record. Ability to successfully pass a background check.
