Drug test Criminal Background check - over two years since prior conviction TB skin test: Must have a test or provide proof of one within the past year. Must have a valid driver's license with reliable transportation. High school diploma with equivalent experience in a related field. A minimum of one-year work experience in the addiction field is required, however two years is preferred.
Position Summary:
The Outreach Coordinator is responsible for building relationships with referral partners for the purpose of facilitating admissions to The Commitment House. Responsible for outreach to the community to increase awareness of our services, build referral relationships and maintain open communication to ensure we are a participating fully as a partner in the community. Travel is required frequently for this position.
Skill Sets:
Must have the skills and competency to communicate with people at all levels, including but not limited to CEOs, judges, the homeless population, and clients. Demonstrate good oral and written communications. Maintain supportive and encouraging, work relationships with supervisor, leaders and clients. Demonstrate a non-judgmental and non-biased disposition regarding clients. Basic computer skills are required. Must have a general understanding of addiction, addiction treatment, and levels of care.
Physical and Environmental Demands:
Visual acuity and manual dexterity are needed for completing required paperwork. Frequent talking and hearing are required for communicating with leaders, families, and other service providers. The physical demands are light with walking, standing, and occasional stooping.
Job Responsibilities:
Provide quality customer service to personnel, persons served, families and stakeholders. Make contact with agencies that might serve as a potential referral source. Schedule in-person meetings and follow ups with referral sources. Answer phones and take messages. Correspond through email in a timely manner. Aid the Marketing Director in conducting the quarterly stakeholder survey with referral contacts. Travel to and from different counties in Kentucky within assigned regions. Conduct screenings when appropriate, e.g. hospitals or correctional facilities. Maintain a spreadsheet that catalogs all referral sources and update for most current contact information. Document weekly contacts with all referral sources and update Productivity binder. Provide weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual report to ELC. Other duties as assigned.

Pay:
$18.00 - $20.00 per hour
