Job Description

Field Organizer Overview We are looking for an outgoing, dependable, and motivated Field Organizer to help connect with community members and support grassroots outreach efforts. This is a paid position for someone who enjoys talking to people, building relationships, and helping make a difference in the community. The Field Organizer will spend much of their time talking with residents, attending community events, making phone calls, sending text messages, and helping organize outreach activities. No prior campaign or organizing experience is required—we will provide training. The most important qualities are a positive attitude, strong communication skills, and a willingness to engage with people from all backgrounds. Responsibilities Knock on doors and speak with community members about important issues. Make phone calls and send text messages as part of outreach efforts. Attend community meetings, events, and neighborhood gatherings. Help recruit volunteers and supporters. Build relationships with residents, community leaders, and local organizations. Assist with setting up and staffing events. Enter basic information from conversations into our database. Distribute literature, flyers, and other outreach materials. Participate in team meetings and trainings. Help ensure outreach goals are met each week. Qualifications Friendly and comfortable talking with people one-on-one. Strong communication and listening skills. Reliable, organized, and able to work independently. Willing to work evenings and weekends when needed. Comfortable walking neighborhoods and attending community events. Basic computer and smartphone skills. Reliable transportation is preferred. Preferred Experience Customer service, sales, community outreach, volunteer work, or public-facing experience. Experience talking with diverse groups of people. Bilingual skills are a plus but not required. Compensation Competitive pay based on experience.
