Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Outreach Specialist to develop and implement community engagement initiatives that support our organization's mission. The ideal candidate will excel in building relationships, managing volunteer programs, and promoting our services through various channels. This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact by connecting with diverse populations and advancing public health and social welfare efforts. Responsibilities Design and execute outreach strategies to increase community awareness and participation Manage volunteer recruitment, onboarding, training, and retention programs Develop and deliver engaging presentations and public speaking engagements to diverse audiences Coordinate program development activities aligned with organizational goals Oversee project management tasks to ensure timely and effective implementation of outreach initiatives Utilize marketing techniques, including social media management, to promote programs and events Collect, analyze, and report data related to outreach activities to measure effectiveness Foster partnerships with community organizations, healthcare providers, and stakeholders Support fundraising efforts through event planning, donor engagement, and grant writing assistance Provide administrative support for outreach projects, including scheduling and documentation Skills Proven experience in volunteer management and supervising teams Strong public speaking abilities with excellent communication skills Expertise in program development, project management, and social media management Knowledge of data collection methods and analysis for program evaluation Background in addiction counseling, public health, or social work is a plus Demonstrated leadership qualities with the ability to motivate teams and build community trust Experience in marketing, fundraising, recruiting, teaching, or administrative roles preferred Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail Compassionate demeanor with a passion for community service and social impact
