Community Outreach Representatives work directly with members of the community to provide information about renewable energy and electricity supply options available to Massachusetts residents . Representatives engage customers face-to-face, explain program information, answer basic questions, and assist interested customers through the enrollment process. This is an in-person, customer-facing position for individuals who enjoy meeting new people, working in an energetic environment, and developing their communication and leadership skills. No previous energy or sales experience is required. Paid training is provided. What You'll Do As a Community Outreach Representative, you will: Engage with customers at approved community and retail locations Introduce customers to available energy supply options Educate customers about renewable energy programs Explain program details clearly and accurately Answer basic customer questions Assist interested and eligible customers through the enrollment process Follow all customer protection, compliance, and quality-assurance requirements Maintain a friendly, professional, and positive attitude Participate in ongoing training and team development Work toward individual and team performance goals Who We're Looking For We're looking for individuals who are: Friendly, outgoing, and comfortable meeting new people Reliable and punctual Positive and professional Comfortable working in a performance-driven environment Willing to learn and receive coaching Strong communicators Comfortable using a tablet or mobile device Able to work independently and as part of a team Interested in developing communication, sales, and leadership skills Previous experience in customer service, retail, hospitality, community outreach, promotions, canvassing, fundraising, or sales is helpful but not required. Paid Training & Development New representatives receive training covering: Customer engagement and communication Energy industry basics Renewable energy and electricity supply programs Customer eligibility and enrollment procedures Compliance and quality assurance Professional presentation and sales skills Leadership and team development Our goal is to give representatives the knowledge, confidence, and support needed to succeed. Schedule Monday - Saturday availability preferred This is an in-person field position . Representatives work at designated community outreach and retail locations. Candidates should have reliable transportation and flexibility to travel to assigned locations within the local market. Full-time and part-time opportunities may be available depending on scheduling and business needs. Compensation Paid Training + Base Pay + Performance Incentives Compensation may include: Base pay Performance-based incentives Daily and/or weekly bonuses Advancement opportunities with additional earning potential Specific compensation, performance expectations, and bonus opportunities will be explained during the interview process.
