Job Description

Community-Based Referral Coordinator (ABA Therapy Focus) Actify ABA Therapy - Maryland (Field-Based Role) Actify ABA Therapy is seeking a driven, relationship-focused Community-Based Referral Coordinator to expand our presence across Columbia, Baltimore, Ellicott City, Silver Spring, Lanham, and surrounding areas. This role is ideal for someone who understands ABA therapy and is passionate about connecting families with high-quality, clinically appropriate care.

Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM - 1:30

Role:
This is a field-based position focused on developing and managing referral relationships within the pediatric and autism services community. The right candidate will not just build connections, but serve as a knowledgeable resource on ABA therapy—helping referral partners understand when, why, and how to connect families to services.
Key Responsibilities:
Build and maintain strong relationships with pediatricians, diagnosing psychologists, daycares, schools, early intervention programs, and other referral sources Educate providers and community partners on ABA therapy, including service models, clinical appropriateness, and the intake process Identify and develop new referral channels across assigned territories Coordinate incoming referrals and ensure a smooth, professional handoff to the intake team Follow up consistently with referral sources to maintain engagement and strengthen partnerships Represent Actify ABA Therapy at community events, networking opportunities, and provider offices Track outreach efforts and referral activity to support growth and accountability
Qualifications:
Strong understanding of ABA therapy (required) Experience in ABA, behavioral health, autism services, or a related field strongly preferred Excellent communication and relationship-building skills Comfortable working independently in a field-based role with regular local travel Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple relationships and follow-ups Professional, polished presence when interacting with healthcare providers and community partners
