In this role, you will lead efforts to foster meaningful engagement, develop culturally relevant programs, and strengthen community relationships. Your energetic approach will inspire trust and participation, ensuring our initiatives resonate authentically with the community's needs. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a tangible impact through outreach, education, and collaboration. Responsibilities Develop and implement community outreach strategies tailored to the Vietnamese community, promoting awareness of available services and resources Build and maintain strong relationships with community leaders, organizations, and local stakeholders to facilitate collaboration and partnership opportunities Organize and lead community events, workshops, and informational sessions that address health, social issues, or program offerings Manage social media platforms and marketing efforts to increase visibility and engagement within the Vietnamese community Collect data on community needs, feedback, and program outcomes to inform continuous improvement efforts Supervise volunteer teams, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure effective service delivery Coordinate with internal teams on program development, ensuring cultural relevance and accessibility for diverse audiences Requirements Proven experience in volunteer management and supervising teams in community settings Strong public speaking skills with the ability to engage diverse audiences confidently Experience in program development, project management, and social media management Knowledge of public health issues, addiction counseling, social work or related fields is highly desirable Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate others and foster teamwork Excellent organizational skills with experience in data collection and administrative tasks Background in marketing or outreach strategies tailored to multicultural communities is a plus Ability to recruit volunteers or participants effectively and teach or train others as needed This role is ideal for proactive individuals passionate about empowering communities through meaningful engagement.
