Outreach Coordinator

About Venture House Venture House is a community-based non-profit, mental health agency, utilizing the Clubhouse Model of Psychosocial Rehabilitation. Our mission is to support individuals living with mental illness to achieve recovery through improved access to education, employment, recreation, housing, civic engagement and the arts in an environment of mutual acceptance and empowerment. Venture House is a non-residential facility. We are currently seeking a dynamic, compassionate, and analytical individual who is a proactive initiative-taker with strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills. The ideal candidate will also bring experience in referral network coordination and relationship-building to help drive the continued growth and impact of our organization.

Bronx Clubhouse Director & Queens Clubhouse Director Job Responsibilities:

Implement projects and takes direction as outlined by leadership team, including Clubhouse Directors, Development Office and CEO. Establish strategic relationships with community stakeholders, including business leaders, service providers, referral sources, schools, libraries, homeless services, criminal justice settings, elected officials and legislators. Seek and develop partnerships across NYC. Maintain an up-to-date calendar of outreach events and activities. Provide monthly report to Directors on outreach activities monthly, or as requested. Collaborate with Directors in implementing a growth plan in accordance with a structured calendar. Engage clubhouse members, media units, and other relevant staff in outreach activities and events. Collaborate with community partners to plan and execute outreach events. Coordinate vendors, participants, and prospective members in implementing marketing events, resource fairs and other Venture House activities. Coordinate with Intake Unit to facilitate seamless referral and admission process for incoming members. Develop press releases and other marketing material, including on social media platforms, email campaigns, brochures, and public relations events. Manage and maintain the CRM system (Customer Relationship Management) and all outreach reporting and database (this includes Outreach calendar and Outreach metrics). Participate in grant writing, as assigned. Work collaboratively with various city, state, and national entities. Coordinate with media units and development office to maintain and update active presence on social media, website, Instagram, Facebook, and Linkedin. Other duties, as assigned.

$55,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
