Duties Design, coordinate, and execute outreach strategies tailored to community needs, focusing on public health, addiction counseling, youth programs, and social work initiatives Build strong relationships with community organizations, schools, healthcare providers, and local leaders to expand program reach and foster collaboration Lead volunteer management efforts by recruiting, training, supervising, and motivating volunteers to support outreach activities Conduct public speaking engagements at community events, workshops, and informational sessions to raise awareness about available services Develop marketing materials and manage social media platforms to promote programs and engage target audiences effectively Collect data on outreach activities to evaluate program effectiveness and inform future planning Provide culturally competent support by working with diverse communities, including bilingual communication when applicable Skills Proven experience in community outreach, grassroots organizing, or public health initiatives Strong leadership skills with experience supervising teams or volunteers in dynamic environments Excellent public speaking abilities with the confidence to present to varied audiences Skilled in program development, project management, and organizational planning Proficiency in social media management, marketing strategies, and data collection tools Knowledge of addiction counseling, public health principles, and working with underserved populations Ability to collaborate effectively with community partners and stakeholders from diverse backgrounds Bilingual proficiency is highly desirable for engaging multilingual communities Experience working with youth programs or in social work settings is a plus Exceptional written communication skills for creating reports, promotional content, and grant applications CPR certification preferred; strong organizational skills essential for managing multiple projects simultaneously Join us as an Outreach Specialist and be a catalyst for positive change!
