Res Life Coordinator (RLC)
Job Description/Requirements:
1. Self-starters who love Jesus and love sharing the Gospel with others! 2. Actively involved in a local church and leading a Bible study (or with previous experience). 3. Host a weekly Bible study at their apartment complex (investigative/discovery/seeker- focused), which is open to all residents. 4. Run an apartment community event each week for residents—with a focus on food and fun! 5. Able to create and maintain a Prayer Support Team, with weekly updates using Signal app. 6. Meet 1-2 times monthly with the property management/site team to discuss plans and coordinate scheduling and marketing of the events. 7. Meet 1-2 times monthly with the RLM Director to discuss events and Bible study. 8. Meet regularly (1-2 times/month) with a mentor from their church who is providing guidance, accountability, and prayer support for the RLC. 9. Meet virtually each month with The Big Team—all Coordinators from all eight sites/cities! 10.
Estimated time requirement:
10-15 hours/week 11. Bachelor's degree preferred, but juniors and seniors are also welcome to apply. 12. Minimum 1-year commitment is requested, with ongoing service based on "fit" & performance.
Compensation:
1. Free rent and utilities at https://www.theurbanohio.com/ where they live and serve 2. Monthly ministry budget for coffee/meals/snacks/Bible study materials for residents 3. Events budget based on number of residents & event attendance (varies by location/site) 4. Annual in-person Big Team Retreat for training, encouragement, and inspiration!
Pay:
$1,100.00 - $1,300.00 per month
