Slavic Community Center of NW (SCC of NW) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the health and well-being of Slavic and Eastern European communities in Oregon. We work closely with local health systems, government agencies, and community partners to provide culturally and linguistically appropriate education, outreach, and support. We are seeking a motivated Community Outreach & Project Coordinator to primarily support our immunization education and outreach projects, while also assisting with other community health initiatives as new projects become available. This is a part-time contract position with a flexible schedule. Hours depend on active grants and projects, so workload may vary throughout the year. Responsibilities Conduct community outreach within Russian-, Ukrainian-, and other Eastern European-speaking communities. Coordinate educational workshops, outreach events, health fairs, and community presentations. Build and maintain relationships with community organizations, schools, faith-based organizations, healthcare providers, and other partners. Assist community members by connecting them with available health and social services. Help organize project activities, schedules, and logistics. Create and distribute culturally appropriate outreach materials. Assist with social media content and community communications in multiple languages. Collect outreach data, maintain accurate records, and assist with grant reporting. Represent SCC of NW professionally at community meetings and events. Support additional community health projects as assigned. Qualifications Fluency in Ukrainian, Russian and English (spoken and written). English proficiency does not need to be native, but applicants should be comfortable communicating professionally. Experience working with diverse communities, nonprofits, healthcare, education, or social services preferred. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks independently. Comfortable speaking to groups and engaging community members. Experience using Microsoft Office and Google Workspace. Experience with Canva, social media platforms, or basic graphic design is a plus. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred, as some local travel is required. What We're Looking For We're looking for someone who is: Passionate about serving the community.
