Employment Coordinator / Generalist Chadwick Clubhouse Roseburg, Oregon Position Summary Are you looking for something more than a typical 9-to-5 job? Do you want to use your skills, experience, and passion to help adults living with mental health challenges build meaningful lives, employment opportunities, and community connections? Chadwick Clubhouse is seeking an Employment Coordinator / Generalist to provide high-quality rehabilitation services based on the evidence-based Clubhouse International Model. This position works side-by-side with members in a collaborative environment that promotes recovery, employment, education, housing stability, wellness, and community integration. The Employment Coordinator / Generalist plays a key role in member engagement, employment development, community partnerships, program operations, and Work-Ordered Day activities while helping members identify strengths, overcome barriers, and achieve personal goals. About Chadwick Clubhouse Chadwick Clubhouse is a nonprofit psychosocial rehabilitation program serving adults living with mental health challenges in Douglas County. The Clubhouse model focuses on meaningful work, community inclusion, employment, education, wellness, and member-driven recovery. Our mission is to foster a Clubhouse community of recovery where members experience socially satisfying relationships, advocacy, purpose-filled work opportunities, and pathways to employment and independence. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Clubhouse Operations & Member Engagement Work side-by-side with members to carry out daily Clubhouse operations through the Work-Ordered Day. Foster an environment where members feel wanted, needed, respected, expected, and safe. Encourage participation in all Clubhouse opportunities, including employment, education, wellness, social, and community activities. Assist with member orientation, intake, engagement, outreach, and retention efforts. Facilitate member involvement in planning, decision-making, and daily Clubhouse operations. Lead by example in communication, teamwork, professionalism, and recovery-oriented practices. Participate in evening, holiday, and special Clubhouse events as needed. Employment Services Develop and maintain relationships with local employers and community partners. Coordinate Transitional Employment (TE), Supported Employment (SE), and Independent Employment supports in accordance with Clubhouse International Standards.
Assist members with:
Employment readiness Job search activities Resume development Interview preparation Workplace success strategies Employment retention supports Perform placement management duties for Transitional Employment positions, including: Employer relations Job training Staff and member coverage Monitoring placement success Support members pursuing vocational training, certifications, and educational opportunities. Community Resource Coordination Assist members in accessing community resources including: Housing Benefits Healthcare Transportation Education Employment services Encourage self-advocacy and development of natural support systems. Build partnerships with local agencies, employers, educational institutions, and community organizations. Program Administration & Data Management Maintain accurate member, employment, and program records. Track outcomes, participation data, and employment statistics. Assist with grant reporting, reimbursement documentation, accreditation requirements, and compliance activities. Support data collection and reporting for funding sources and stakeholder reports. Utilize computer systems, databases, Microsoft Office, QuickBooks, and other software as assigned. Business Unit & Generalist Responsibilities Assist with front desk operations, phones, outreach calls, scheduling, and member communications. Participate in newsletters, marketing, presentations, social media, and community outreach activities. Support fundraising, donor relations, and community awareness efforts. Assist with facility upkeep, inventory management, and organizational projects. Drive Clubhouse vehicles and assist with member transportation when required. Assist in other units as needed. Health & Wellness Participation Support member involvement in meal planning, food preparation, gardening, wellness activities, and other Clubhouse operations. Assist with organizing daily tasks and providing hands-on training opportunities for members. Promote healthy lifestyles, wellness education, and community participation. Qualifications Required Valid Oregon Driver License and insurable driving record. Ability to pass a criminal background check. Strong organizational, communication, and relationship-building skills. Ability to work collaboratively with diverse populations. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Experience with QuickBooks, data tracking, grant reporting, or nonprofit administration. Preferred Minimum two (2) years of experience in one or more of the following: Mental health services Human services Recovery support services Workforce development Employment services Social services Nonprofit operations Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Human Services, Social Work, Psychology, Rehabilitation, Education, Business, or related field. Experience working with adults living with mental health challenges. Experience with Clubhouse International Standards. Community Health Worker (CHW) certification. Physical Requirements Ability to sit, stand, bend, lift, and move throughout the workday. Ability to lift up to 30 pounds. Ability to transport members and operate Clubhouse vehicles. Ability to participate in community activities, outreach events, and occasional outdoor work. Schedule Full-Time Monday-Friday Typical Clubhouse hours: 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. Occasional evenings, weekends, and holidays for social events, trainings, or program activities.
Compensation & Benefits Salary:
$46,000 annually Benefits may include: PTO Paid holidays Professional development and training Community Health Worker training opportunities Clubhouse International training opportunities Mileage reimbursement for approved travel Health insurance stipend or health benefits (as available) Training Requirement Must be willing and able to attend local, state, and out-of-state trainings, including Clubhouse International training programs of up to 2-3 weeks in duration.

$44,000.00 per year
